Health and Safety
At Byfords, we hold the health and safety of our staff, contractors, and customers in the highest regard, taking all practicable measures to ensure that all those on our sites and those we interact with remain safe from harm. We operate under a zero drug or alcohol tolerance policy and all our staff are licensed, trained and competent to complete their assigned tasks.
All Byfords Staff are trained in first aid (accredited by MediTrain and NZQA) and have Spill Kits, First Aid Kits and Fire Extinguishers readily available to them at all times on all sites.
Third Parties: If you are a Third Party wanting the ability to self-load on our site, please fill out the "Third Party Pre-Qualification Form" from the document list below and email it to healthandsafety@byfords.co.nz, contact our Office (06 388 0126) and ask to speak to our Operations or Quarry Manager and they will provide you with the next steps to follow.
